Freeman maple 'Morgan'

Deciduous tree occuring as a natural hybrid, a fast-growing, female clone about 15m tall, with an open pyramid shape, and large, 3-lobed, mid-green, deeply dissected leaves, silvery beneath, turn orange-red to purple in autumn. Rounded clusters of tiny red flowers in early spring are followed by greenish winged seeds which are usually sterile
