About this plant

'Chishio Improved' is a dense, bushy small tree, or medium to large rounded shrub, to around 4m tall and wide. Small leaves, to 5cm long, emerge a brilliant pinky-red in spring, becoming green in summer before turning orange-red in autumn. Young stems have red bark and small, reddish flowers are borne in clusters in spring
