About this plant

'Hana-matoi' is a compact, mounding shrub with weeping branches to 2m tall. Its finely-dissected leaves emerge purple in spring with cream and pink streaks of variegation; the purple base colour may darken to green in summerwhilst retaining the variegation before leaves turn bright red in autumn
