African lily 'Polar Star'

A deciduous, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with strap-shaped mid-green leaves and sturdy stems which produce panicles of pendulous nodding flowers in summer. These are dark blue in bud, blue to mid-blue when fully open with a hint of purple, and have a darker blue-purple mid rib down each petal.
