Allium beesianum W.W. Sm.

A low-growing, deciduous bulbous perennial producing narrow, strap-shaped mid-green leaves and small spherical heads of pale blue flowers on straight stems to 20cm (8in) tall, in July and August. The flowers are extremely attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, making the plant a wonderful addition to a wildlife garden.
