Amazonian elephant's ear plant 'Polly'

Grow indoors in a potting mix of equal parts composted bark, loam and sand, in filtered light. In the growing season, water freely and provide high humidity by placing the container on a tray of moist gravel or pebbles. Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2-3 weeks. Water moderately in winter. Requires a minimum temperature of 15-18°C (59-64°F)

Propagate by division in spring or summer, or by softwood cuttings in spring. Propagate by seed at 23°C (73°F) as soon as ripe.

May be susceptible to glasshouse red spider mite and mealybugs
