Californian lilac 'Marie Simon'

A small, bushy, deciduous shrub to 1.5m tall and wide, with finely-toothed, oval leaves. From June to August small, pale mauve-pink flowers are borne in terminal panicles on purple flushed stems and followed by red seed capsules.
