About this plant

A spreading, deciduous, unusually, thornless shrub to 1.5m in height, with dark green, rounded, glossy leaves. The clusters of single red flowers are produced in spring on bare branches, followed, in autumn, by fragrant yellow fruits that are ideal for making into quince jelly. Its habit is slightly more upright than other chaenomeles cultivars
