clematis 'Blue Bird'

Deciduous climber to about 3m tall, with mid-green leaves composed of three leaflets with serrated leaf margins, and semi-double, bell-shaped, lavender-blue flowers with narrow, twisted tepals 6cm long surrounding an inner pale blue skirt of petals and creamy-white stamens, flowering mainly on old wood in mid to late spring, with some occasional flowers in late summer
