Double flowers to 13cm in width produced on old wood have rich blue-mauve 8-9 overlapping rounded tepals with a mauve bar and dark purple veins and purple and yellow stamens. Single flowers on current seasons growth. Flowers late spring to early summer (double) and early autumn (single)
