kousa 'Eurostar'

A shrub or compact small tree to 2-3m in height. Leaves shiny dark green with paler midvein, with good autumn colour. Plentiful blooms of blousy, white, overlapping petal-like, medium-sized bracts attractively fading to red at the margins or becoming greenish, surrounding small greenish cream flower heads, all summer and into September. Profusion of red strawberry-like fruits.
