Corylus avellana 'Gustav's Zeller' (F)

A deciduous, slow-growing medium shrub to about 3m with green leaves. In autumn they turn pale yellow before falling. Many yellow catkins form in the winter and open early in the spring, then develop into a crop of large edible nuts. Harvest them quickly before the squirrels!
