cucumber 'Crystal Apple'

An unusual heritage variety, producing climbing plants up to 3m (10ft) high and producing round, golf-ball sized fruit, which have randomly spaced, short black bristles over their skins. The cucmbers are sweet and juicy and are ready to harvest when they turn from green to lemon-yellow. It is suitable for growing outdoors in the UK in a sheltered spot in full sun.
