Dendrobium Hilda Poxon gx

An epiphytic or lithophytic orchid with upright, 50-60cm long, cane-like stems. Each stem is carrying 3-6 dark green leaves, arranged along the upper nodes or at the tip of the cane. New canes are covered in alternate, thin sheaths. The stems are round, occasionally ribbed. 45cm long upright or semi-pendulous flowering stems emerge from the axils of leaves and tips of mature canes, carrying a large cluster of pale yellow or yellow flowers. Each flower is approximately 5cm large, pale or brigh yellow, ofter with dark-reddish markings.
