'Harkstead Flame' is a semi-evergreen perennial with dark green, broadly lance-shaped leaves forming a basal cluster. From summer into autumn, dark purple stems to 90cm tallbear reddish-magenta tubular flowers with orange-yellow speckled throats; this sterile hybrid does not produce seed but has a long flowering season
