Cultivation

Grow in fertile, neutral to slightly acid soil that does not dry out, in full sun and sheltered from cold, drying winds

Pruning group 1 or, for young specimens giving the best display of juvenile foliage, Pruning group 7

Propagation

Propagate by seed in early spring. Seeds can be collected at any time and benefit from a cold period at 3-5°C (37-41°F) for two months. Seeds germinate quickly at 15-20°C (59-68°F). Plant out seedlings in 12-15 months
