'Dawn Star' is a deciduous shrub with trailing stems to around 50cm long and dark green foliage. Large, double flowers borne from summer into autumn have ruffled, pale lavender inner petals overlaid with pink surrounded by green-tipped white sepals

Outdoors grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade in a sheltered position but frost free over winter. Under glass grow in loam based potting compost (JI No.3) or loamless potting compost in bright filtered light and good ventilation. Keep just moist in winter.
