'Deep Purple' is a compact, deciduous shrub to around 40cm tall with a trailing habit making it well suited to growing in a hanging basket. Double flowers to 6cm across are produced in summer and early autumn and comprise white sepals and ruffled, purple inner petals

Outdoors grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or part shade in a sheltered position but frost free over winter. Under glass grow in loam based potting compost (JI No.3) or loamless potting compost in bright filtered light and good ventilation. Keep just moist in winter.
