'Globosa' is a deciduous, spreading shrub to 1m tall and 1.2m wide with dark green, toothed, ovate leaves. Pendulous, single flowers comprising crimson red tubes and sepals and dark purple-violet corollas emerge from fat, rounded buds throughout the summer and into autumn
