Under glass, can get glasshouse whitefly, glasshouse red spider mite, aphids, fuchsia gall mite, glasshouse leafhopper, thrips and vine weevil; outdoor plants are less troubled by these pests but can also get capsid bug and caterpillars

May be affected by grey moulds and fuchsia rust
