About this plant

'Alexander' is an upright, deciduous shrub to 3m tall with leaves that emerge pale yellow-green in spring, becoming dark green in summer before turning shades of yellow and orange in the autumn. Clusters of lightly-scented flowers borne on bare branches in winter are orange-red with narrow, twisted petals to 1.8cm long
