About this plant

'Glowing Embers' is a spreading, deciduous shrub to 2.5m tall and up to 3.5m wide with broadly oval leaves that turn shades of yellow and orange in autumn. Dense clusters of lightly-scented, slender-petalled flowers are borne on the bare branches in late winter and early spring; flowers have golden-yellow tips and are deep red at the base giving an orange-copper appearance when viewed from a distance
