About this plant

A deciduous shrub to 1.5m high, with reddish, branching stems and ovate, serrated green leaves that turn deep red in autumn. Broad lace-cap flower heads are produced on both new and old wood, extending the season to provide flowers all summer. Clusters of tiny fertile flowers are surrounded by large, showy florets in shades of pink, purple or blue depending on the soil

Cultivation
