Kniphofia 'Grandiflora'

Best grown in a sandy soil that has been enriched with humus, but any deep, moist but well-drained soil will do. Full sun is best; can tolerate partial shade but flowering is reduced; requires mild winters to flower well.

Old flower stems can be cut down after flowering and old or dead leaves tidied up or removed in mid-spring.

Propagate established clumps by division in late spring.

Generally pest-free but may be susceptible to slugs and snails.
