About this plant
A large evergreen tree, up to 30m high in its native environment, with a conical habit when young, and linear, flat, glossy dark green leaves to 2.5cm long, positioned radially around the stems. Male cones are small, and held in hanging clusters; seed cones are long, upright, reddish or purple maturing to brown, and remain on the tree for several years
