About this plant

A vigorous, bushy, deciduous shrub, that can reach up to 3.5m tall and wide, with bright, glossy, mid-green foliage and faintly scented, cup-shaped, pure white flowers that appear in late June. Cultivated since before 1870, it isn't often grown in gardens today but it is certainly one of the most attractive species
