A medium-sized, very hardy tree which can flower twice in spring so will normally crop well even if frost damages early blossom. Fruit are broadly conical, with russet skin, and sweet, soft, juicy flesh. Pick from early autumn and store to late winter, using early fruit for cooking, later ones for desert.
