'Crete' is a small, compact, domed evergreen shrub with narrow, dark green leaves felted with dense creamy indumentum beneath. Profuse flowerheads, 10cm in diameter, of small wavy-edged flowers each to 4cm, open pale rose-purple fading to white, from purplish buds, in early spring
