Rhododendron dichroanthum subsp. scyphocalyx

A slow-growing evergreen shrub up to 2m high, with a rounded habit, and dark green leaves with fine white or grey felting underneath. Produces loose clusters of 3-5 bell-shaped flowers, in shades of gold and orange and often flushed pink or red at the edges, from late spring to early summer
