Rhododendron 'Lee's Dark Purple'

An evergreen shrub up to about 2m high, with a dense, rounded habit, and ovate, slightly wavy, glossy dark green leaves. Produces tight clusters of 16 dark purple buds, that open to broadly funnel-shaped violet flowers with greenish-brown speckles on the upper petals, from mid to late spring
