About this plant

R. rex is a very large, evergreen shrub or small tree, with dark green leaves, 25-45cm long, felted beneath with pale brown indumentum. Rounded trusses of 12 to 15 bell-shaped flowers, each flower 4-5cm long, pale pink and white with a deep red throat and spots, appear in mid and late spring
