About this plant

'Dunwich Rose' is a vigorous, twiggy rose with arching stems forming a low hummock of fern-like foliage about 60cm high and twice that across. In early summer it bears a profusion of bowl-shaped, single, slightly-scented, creamy-white flowers, 6cm across, with prominent gold stamens

Cultivation

Grows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny, open position, but tolerates most conditions. Mulch in late winter and, to improve flowering, apply a balanced fertiliser in late winter or early spring
