About this plant

'Kew Rambler' is a large rambling rose, to 5m tall, with vigorous stems and grey-green leaves. Large clusters of fragrant, single, 4cm wide, pink flowers fading to white in the centre and with golden stamens, are produced in early to mid-summer, followed by small orange-red hips

Cultivation

Grows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny, open position, though also tolerates some shade. Good for an arch or pergola. Mulch in late winter and, to improve flowering, apply a balanced fertiliser in late winter or early sprin. See rose cultivation
