About this plant

Can be grown as a medium sized shrub to around 1.2-1.5m in height or as a short climber to 4m. An almost thornless plant, it bears double, scented flowers in the form of shallow cups from summer through to autumn. These are soft pink and less densely petalled than many other roses

Cultivation

Grows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny, open position, though also tolerates some shade. For best flowering apply a balanced fertiliser and mulch in late winter or early spring and a balanced fertiliser again in early summer. See rose cultivation
