About this plant

S. tubiflora is a tuberous, mound-forming perennial growing to 60cm tall. The foliage forms a spreading mound of silver-green, hairy leaves reaching a height of 30cm. In summer, un-branched, red flower stems to 60cm tall are topped by fragrant flowers up to 7cm long. The white flowers are flushed pink at the base
