About this plant

A deciduous tree to 15m tall forming an oval head with densely-packed, ascending branches. Elliptic dark green leaves with hairy, greyish-white undersides are up to 20cm long and shallowly-lobed. Small, white flowers in spring are followed by rounded grey to orange-brown fruits
