About this plant

A compact, bushy evergreen shrub to around 45cm high, with long, narrow, waxy green leaves. New growth is tinted deep purple. Spikes of flowers, clear pink at the tips fading to white at the base, are produced from midsummer to early autumn

Suits a range of well-drained soils, but best grown in poor to moderately fertile, neutral to slightly alkaline soil, in sun or partial shade with shelter from cold, drying winds. May need protection in cold winters
