About this plant

A semi-evergreen shrub to 2.5m high, with grey-brown bark and elliptic to lance-shaped, papery dark green leaves, sparsely toothed towards the tips and sometimes with round dark glands at the leaf base. Clusters of small, cylinder-shaped white flowers are produced in mid to late summer, followed by small, oval-shaped bright red berries
