Japanese snowball 'Shasta'

'Shasta' is a wide-spreading, deciduous shrub with layers of horizontal branches forming a tiered effect and strongly-veined, dark green, ovate leaves that turn purplish-red in autumn. Flowerheads up to 15cm across are borne in spring and comprise a showy outer ring of sterile ray florets surrounding the smaller, fertile florets which may be followed by bright red fruits that mature to black
