About this plant

A vigorous twining climber about 6-8m or more tall, with smooth, glossy green young leaves composed of leaflets, darkening in colour with age. Lightly scented, dense lavender-purple flower racemes to about 30cm long, are produced late in summer, followed by shiny brown seed heads
