Propagate by layering in spring, softwood cuttings from late spring to early summer, hardwood cuttings in winter, root cuttings in late winter or grafting in late winter

May be susceptible to aphids, glasshouse red spider mite, brown scale and wisteria scale

May be susceptible to wisteria graft failure, Powdery mildews, honey fungus, phytophthora root rot, fungal leaf spot, virus diseases and early flower buds can be susceptible to frost damage
